How does link and G7 share the chain of logistics?

Zhu Qi, vice president of Shanghai international chain, combined with the company's own situation, has a distinctive insight into the urban distribution field from the perspective of logistics park. In this ecology, Zhu Qi first saw the object of logistics services - goods, followed by services, including warehouses and distribution, which organized warehouse space, capacity, and terminal node distribution to form a service output. As for what the chain is doing, he summed up 12 words: collecting idle warehouse, bulk cargo, network nodes, and chain resources.

(according to the recording of the fourth urban logistics summit held by logistics salon in April 21st)

Who is the chain?

The chain was established in August 2016 and was jointly invested by PLS and G7. based on this shareholder background, we have many expectations for this company.

The international chain is born from the world's leading provider of modern industrial park. From the initial construction network of the logistics park, the company is slowly developing to a fully eco organized and collectivize company. The other shareholder of the inter chain is the G7 (Internet of things intelligence platform), which is the same for the plus. The two wish to add the elements of science and technology around the park and the node, and set up a smart platform in the city logistics scene, which is the setting of the time chain.

What is the thing that we see in our own vision?

What I want to talk about today is the logistics ecological chain. What is the ecosystem we see?

The first thing we see is the goods. The second is to see the service, including warehousing and distribution services. These services are made by people and organized systems to organize the space of the warehouse, organize the capacity and organize the terminal nodes to form a service output.

So how do we organize this ecology? How to help this ecological healthier development? First of all, goods are well served so that services can better connect the land, equipment and capital they use.

So if we want to be an intelligent logistics ecological environment, we need to organize these elements better. Over the past two years, we have made joint urban distribution, made smart parks and made cloud platforms. I summed up the following 12 words: collecting idle warehouse, bulk cargo, network nodes, chain resources.

Now I'll talk about how we did it.

The first is the idle storehouse

The warehouse is not a traditional warehouse, but a warehousing service with operational capacity. As we can see, there are some idle warehouses in the logistics park, some of which are rented out by the three party logistics, but the space in the warehouse is not used enough. We think, what causes the idle? What kind of service cost do we need to use these idle resources? How can we set up an effective supply?

Along this train of thought we made a storehouse. It is a bit like Ctrip and Ctrip on the sale of tourism products. If the chain regards itself as a carrier, it provides a link platform for unused warehouses and idle storage service resources on the market, allowing them to trade on the platform of the interchain chain.

At the same time, the storehouse redefines the warehousing products, and scatters the traditional large storage space, cutting into one by one rented by the day, rented by the tray, and carried by the whole box, and the service subject in the warehouse is willing to use such a standard to provide services, put it on the market, and trade on the platform. A standardized product has been formed.

How can people be bought after centralized storage and service? Our strategy is to bulk up goods and link retail investors.

Through the survey, we found that in the environment of urban logistics, most of the storage needs come from local dealers, large and small dealers, most of which are even below three thousand or four thousand square meters, and even a lot of smaller and more scattered needs.

There are many brands demand, such as furniture, massage chairs and other products, to the urban group sales, its warehouse demand is more than one hundred or two hundred square meters. So we think that bulk cargo exists in the market environment in urban logistics. It can be briefly summarized into two categories, one is the bulk goods of distributors, and the other is the small demand of large customers.

So how do you find these two needs? On the one hand, we work with distributors and cooperate with local logistics partners to grasp these long-term and stable needs. On the other hand, the small needs of the large customers, for example, in the hands of the express network in Germany, rhyme and so on, many customers have a long journey. Because of various reasons, they can not go immediately and need to transfer for a few days. Intercity offers shelter for this demand.

The platform through the Internet can give you an entry of the diversion, which can be sold through this platform. It is a service provider who helps hundreds of empty space providing warehouses to find a diversion port, and helps those bulk cargo find services quickly.

We are now gathering one million square meters of effective supply in the country, such as the cooperation with Andy, Ruijie and other companies to transform the idle resources on their hands into the barn products, through the flow entrance of the InterWorld chain, to make the resources better utilized.

What I have just said is to let everyone find a channel for docking. What we need to do is to make the channel between supply and demand more efficient and cheaper. What do you want to do with this? It is through the network nodes we speak, the chain resources.

How to network nodes, better interconnection and intercommunication?

For example, we have made an intelligent upgrade of more than 50 PLO's parks: one is the management system of the entrance and exit, the management and control of the flow of the park, and the appointment. Next, it will help customers better manage the platform and improve the utilization efficiency. In addition to pro us, we also work with other owners who have such needs to help partners see the synergy between upstream and downstream more transparently.

The last thing to do is the chain resources

How do we match the capacity of the city to the park and the park? We should make the handover link more convenient, lower the cost of the service and make the use efficiency more high. For example, the shared service area we build in the park allows many devices to be shared, so that the services in the process of delivery can be shared. Through this sharing, we can promote the interconnection of the entire resources. Let the upstream know wher the downstream is, for example, when the platform is loaded and unloading, let the goods, cars, forklifts and people make the highest efficiency and speed on a platform.

Logistics starts from the state of shouldered hands, to the simple duplication of labor by equipment and system instead of people. Today, these infrastructures are becoming cheaper and cheaper, and the cost of the whole logistics ecosystem has been reduced. Therefore, in the whole logistics ecology, we should eventually use the intelligence and information to build the ecological chain to build a more efficient, lower cost, and more humanized environment.

These are some thoughts I got in the city logistics scene today. The road is very long. We just started. Let's work together. Thank you.
